In keeping with the CDMs mission, the sculpture seeks to reinforce the values of creativity, curiosity, a sense of wonder, and provided unexpected insights. Two sweeping forms represent the natural element and the human element behind “Prepare, Nourish, Harvest”.

They are interrelated parts working together in an energy cycle that leads to a dynamic point.  From a distance the multi-colored baffles will be obscured by the new reclaimed wood walls, with the green sweeps providing intrigue.  Upon entering the Food Shed people are rewarded with an explosion of color and interest that livens up the space and entices the senses.  Whether dining underneath or exploring the exhibits above, each vantage point provides for introspective intrigue and experience.
